2024 SUMMER – JR. PROGRAM: MOVEMENT SKILLS FOR LIFE

and THE CHAMPION ZONE

This summer, Coach Rozy Performance once again willffer it’s Jr. Program implementing their MOVEMENT SKILLS FOR LIFE PROGRAM.  The Movement Skills teach the 12 basic movements Balance, Walking, Running, Sprinting, Sliding, Jumping, Hopping, Skipping, Throwing, Catching, Kicking and Striking.

The program is 2x a week for 10 weeks (We take the week of July 4th off!).  Each week we cover one or two of the movement skills, teaching the skill of the movement and adding in games and activites to build those skills into play.

This year, we are also adding a new component – the CHAMPION ZONE PLAYBOOK.  The Playbook is broken down into 10 Zones, with each step build to get kids to the Champion Zone.  The process is put in place to help kids develop their mind, body and spirit to understand what it takes to be a champion – not just in sports, but in life!  Follow each step – when we do – you’ll find yourself in the CHAMPION ZONE!

Each lesson will be reviewed by Coach Rozy’s Coaches and Staff.  The kids will be able to take the Playbook (which has been paid for by the AVERA FOUNDATION, so each participant will get their own playbook) home.  At home, an adult in the childs life will be able to watch videos we will send out and review the ZONE with their kids and talk about each area and zone – being a huge part in what it takes to be a Champion and add their insights, values and help develop a pathway for their kids to become a true Champion.
