FALL/WINTER PERFORMANCE TRAINING BEGINS

Starting Monday, August 28, 2017, Coach Rozy and Staff will be kicking off the FALL PERFORMANCE TRAINING at Coach Rozy Performance’s facility located in Suite 3500 at The Pavilion, 501 Summit St, Yankton, SD 57078 (south of AVERA Sacred Heart Hospital).

As the leader of Sports Performance Training in the area, Coach Rozy Performance offers an innovative approach to training – building on a solid athletic foundation while staying focused on each athlete’s individual goals. Our unique program includes instruction in movement training, injury reduction and rehabilitation, linear and lateral speed techniques, foot speed and agility, explosive power development, proper functional strength training and energy system conditioning. Athletes are closely supervised as the coach takes them through an intense  workout with attention always being paid to proper technique and safety.

The Workout

The workout consists of functionally sound movement training, strength training and conditioning with a strong focus on basic and proper technique. The workout becomes progressively more challenging once basic techniques have been mastered. All groups are lead by our qualified staff members  to allow maximum attention.

  • SPEED – Acceleration, Deceleration, Linear and Lateral Movement Techniques, Running Mechanics, Footwork
  • EXPLOSIVE POWER – Olympic Lifting, Plyometrics, Medicine Ball, Jumping & Landing Techniques
  • STRENGTH – Functional Approach, Thorough Instruction, Focus on Upper Body, Lower Body & Core
  • CONDITIONING – Game Ready Preparation for all Athletes.
  • FLEXIBILITY – Myofascial Release (Foam Rolling), Various Forms of Stretching, Muscle Activation
  • INJURY REDUCTION – Identify & Correct Muscular Imbalances, Balance & Stabilization
  • NUTRITION EDUCATION – Lessons, Tips and Advice

SESSIONS OFFERED ARE:

T-TH at 6:45 am to 7:30 am (Great for in-season athletes to stay at peak form and on top of their game!)

M-T-W-Th at 4:15 pm to 5:15 pm (For all boys and girls, everyone getting ready for any sport, grades 7th to 12th grade)
