Bottoms Up Suitcase Walk

Still working on showing exercises that activate the Quadratus Lumborum (QL) and other areas of the Core – this week we show the Bottoms Up Suitcase Walk. Very easy to do, we prefer a kettlebell for this exercise, but a dumbbell will work. Standing upright, bring the resistance up to shoulder level as if doing a curl. At the top of the exercise, hold the weight in place. Walk for the distance set, return and switch hands. Make sure to use a weight that you can handle – and maintain control as you move.
To increase intensity, you can hold the weight farther away from the body – so the shoulder and elbow are both at 90 degrees.
