Arm Over Stretch

The Arm Over Stretch is an exercise that stretches the lower back, upper back, shoulders and helps with thorasic spine and hip mobility.
- Start by lying on your side
- Bring your hips up to 90 degrees and bend your knees to 90 degrees
- Extend both arms out in front of you at chest level
- Lying on your left side, (Your right arm should be on top of your left arm),take your right arm and lift over the top of your body, opening your hips and shoulders.
- Bring your right arm over to the opposite side, trying to rest it on the floor
During the movement, the left arm and shoulder should remain on the ground
If the left arm and shoulder start to come off the ground, that is where movement should stop
- Bring the right arm back to start position.
- Repeat for number of reps.
- Switch to the other side and repeat the exercise working the other side
