FAITH-FOCUS-FIRE; Achieving Peak Success

So many times we hear of factors that help us propel to new levels of success. Keys that help unlock the doors to keep moving forward to reach peak performance. I once had the chance to hear a speaker talk about Faith-Focus and Fire and how mastering each of these is vital to success.
Any time we look at three factors, we think that if we are giving 33.4% in each of those areas, we will have 100% chance for success. It doesn’t work that way – and let me explain. The factors are multiplied with each other – not added! So if you take 33.4% in each area of Faith-Focus-Focus, you end up with 3.7% chance to succeed (33.4% x 33.4% x 33.4% = .037, or 3.7% chance of winning). If any area, if you don’t believe is important, take Faith; the belief that something can happen that has not happened yet, and it’s “0”, the chance of success is “0” (0 x 100% x 100% = 0). Anything multiplied by “0” is just that, a big goose egg.
To see high levels of success – which is 90% or greater, you would need to have a minimum of 97% effort, buy-in or work in what your giving with your Faith – Focus and Fire. 97% in each area would give you a 91% chance of reaching a high level of success (.97 x .97 x .97 = 91%).
If one of these area’s waiver, you lose focus for a period of time and drop to 25%, even when your Faith is operating at 100% and your Energy Level is at 95% (you might of had a few late nights), you drop your Success Percent to 22.5%.
So how do we keep pushing ourselves to that high standard and hitting those high percentages?
FAITH – You are like the top 5 people you hang around. You are what you read, listen to and those your associate with. Find those that elevate you and see your vision, your goals and lift you up. By loading up on positive energy, putting good things into your world – you’ll find that keeping the faith and on track for your dreams and goals is a lot easier.
FOCUS – Set a plan and schedule and follow it. When you are at work – be a worker. When you are with your kids – be a parent. When you are with your wife or husband – be a great spouse. It’s hard to focus on one thing when we have 5 things running through our head. Turn off the phones, ipads, iPods, iPhone and outside distractions. Be in the here and now – and put it on paper with a schedule to keep on track.
FIRE – Exercise, diet, sleep and rest & recovery are key to making sure you have what it takes to push faster, harder and farther then anyone else. You can’t do it on an empty tank – just like a car can’t move without some fuel in it’s system. By taking are of the things that make your body run at high levels – you need to take high priority on your health and wellness.
